The Shimano BTR8000D features all the latest technologies from Shimano, such as Propulsion Line Management System, but still maintains all the live-bait features and incredible durability of the legendary Baitrunner Series. The key feature of the Shimano Baitrunner is its secondary drag system which maintains a controlled freespool with the bail closed bail allowing fish to run with the bait. By flipping the lever or turning the handle the primary drag quickly engages. Other features include Graphite Frame, Propulsion Line Management System, Varispeed Oscillation, Machined Aluminum Handle, Dartainium II Drag, SA-RB Ball Bearings, Super Stopper Anti-Reverse, Dyna-Balance and Fluidrive II Gearing.
