The EX-C84X-L is an excellent rod for bottom fishing with one to three ounces of lead and 10 to 20 pound test lines. Excalibur series rods are made with Calstar Grafighter blanks and are uniquely different because these blanks are High Grade Graphite with a Fiberglass tip for extra sensitivity on the "Pick-up" but still provide a quick solid hook set. The standard EX-C84X-L features black Fuji Hardloy guides with a black hooded Fuji reel seat and hand-crafted hypalon grips and butts. These grips are made from the highest grade of hypalon and we hand shape them on a lathe after they are glued to the rod for the most comfortable shape and texture. To complement this rods outstanding performance, we wrap this series in a beautiful teal under, black over with gold and red trim for guide wraps along with a standard Chevron Base wrap.
