The MA-C72F-MM is an excellent general purpose rod for 10 to 20 pound test lines and utilizes Lamiglas Tri-Flex blanks. Tri-Flex blanks are unique because they utilize a 3-Layer construction method û one full layer of graphite then a full layer of fiberglass and a final top layer of graphite covering the bottom ⅔ of the blank. This tri-layer process creates a rod that is lightweight and durable while creating a unique action that has the power of a fast taper but the feel of a slower taper rod. Although technically a composite, we consider these rods to be pure graphite because of their lightweight and highly sensitive feel. The standard MA-C72F-MM features black Fuji Hardloy guides with a black hooded Fuji reel seat and hand-crafted hypalon grips and butts. These grips are made from the highest grade of hypalon and we hand shape them on a lathe after they are glued to the rod for the most comfortable shape and texture. To complement this rodÆs outstanding performance, we wrap this series in a dignified light gray with black and white trim for guide wraps along with a standard Sea Isle Crosswind Base wrap.
