The Shimano Stradic ST5000FJ is yet another improvement on an iconic spinning reel model. The Stradic FJ version features the new 'X-Ship' gearing system that aligns the gears at the perfect angle for maximum power with every crank. The Shimano Stradic FJ also features the Propulsion Line Management System which allows for maximum casting distance when using either Monofilament or Braided Lines. The Stradic has a strong one piece bail wire with an aluminum spool featuring a waterproof drag and is approved for Saltwater Use.
